Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali announced that reconstruction works at 27 de Enero Street in Ejido Islas Agrarias “A” will enhance local mobility and quality of life for nearly 2,000 residents.
During her visit to inspect this new project, carried out by the Mexicali City Hall, the mayor reaffirmed her commitment to addressing the historic lack of road infrastructure in local communities. “We continue to deliver results, working closely with the community to make the city and the valley a better place to live,” she stated.

Alberto Ibarra, Director of Public Works, noted that the project at 27 de Enero Street represents an investment of nearly 6 million pesos and will cover a 5,948 square meter stretch between State Highway No. 8 and Calzada Islas Agrarias.
Jazmín Ramírez, a representative of the benefited communities, thanked Mayor Norma Bustamante of Mexicali’s administration for responding to their long-standing request to repair this road, which had gone over 10 years without restoration.
