Mayor Norma Bustamante inaugurated a new walk-in medical dispensary on Friday, located in the City Hall building in the historic downtown opposite the Cathedral. The opening marks the fifth such clinic launched by her administration to expand access to basic healthcare services for residents.

“This clinic addresses a direct need to support our most vulnerable communities. With today’s opening, we now operate five municipal dispensaries across the city,” the mayor said.

The city’s Chief Administrative Officer, Claudia Beltrán, outlined the network’s locations, which now includes the new Historic Downtown site, the main City Hall, Ejido Batáquez, and the Guadalupe Victoria and Benito Juárez delegations. A dedicated disability services office also operates separately on Francisco Sarabia Avenue.

All five dispensaries operate on a walk-in basis, eliminating the need for appointments. Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and include general medical consultations as well as assistance in obtaining disability permits, identification cards, and official certification.
