Faustino Gomez Hernandez, Mayor of San Bartolomé Quialana, Oaxaca, has been arrested for aggravated assault and rape against a Government employee.
The state justice court has informed that Gomez Hernandez has been under arrest since Friday August the 2nd, the arrest was placed under detention warrant number 117/2013.
The incident occurred April 11th of this year, when the victim was at her work station, approximately at 8:00 a.m. And before she could react, the mayor locked the door and committed this heinous crime.
Because of this rape, the victim became pregnant, which is why the case was presented before the office of the deputy attorney that handles crimes against women by reason of gender.
