Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz emphasized the vital role of women’s leadership in the regional economy during her keynote address at the inauguration of the AMMJE 2025 “B2MAKERS” Business Summit. The event seeks to strengthen ties with the business community, highlight women’s contributions to the economy, and foster collaboration among the three levels of government.
A flagship initiative for gender-focused economic development in Baja California, the summit serves as a key meeting ground for women entrepreneurs across diverse sectors. Through conferences, panels, and networking sessions, it promotes public-private partnerships and encourages innovation and growth led by women.

In her remarks, Mayor Adame described the forum as essential to advancing female leadership and building the synergies needed to drive sustainable business development.

“Now more than ever, it is women’s time. Transformation happens wherever women are united, committed, creating, innovating, and inspiring. This summit allows us to gather and discuss everything from the economy and infrastructure to social development, education, and inclusion. Because everywhere you look, a woman is putting our country’s name on the map,” the mayor said.

She described the event as a strategic platform that boosts women’s participation in the economy and builds alliances to fuel the social and economic transformation of Playas de Rosarito.
“This summit is a window to the world, showcasing what our women entrepreneurs do best: consolidate regional leadership, generate significant economic benefits, and build a business landscape that is strong, diverse, and resilient. A great country is built with a great community, and there is no community more powerful than that of Mexican women,” she said.

With her participation in the AMMJE 2025 “B2MAKERS” Business Summit, Mayor Rocío Adame reaffirms her commitment to strengthening the business sector, promoting women’s leadership, and fostering institutional collaboration.
