Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz took her administration directly to the people this week, presenting a report on her first year in office and delivering essential aid to families at the Tonatzin Community Center in the Constitución neighborhood.
Emphasizing her commitment to a transparent and accessible government, the mayor stated that engaging directly with communities is a cornerstone of her administration.
“It is important to go to the neighborhoods, to listen to the people, and for them to also listen to us. This allows them to see firsthand that we are working for them,” she said.

In her address, Mayor Rocío Adame highlighted significant progress in public safety, citing a notable reduction in crime and strengthened community relations through neighborhood security roundtables.
Key infrastructure achievements were also outlined, including the paving of major avenues, installation of new streetlights, support for the Fire Department with the delivery of uniforms and equipment, and the establishment of peace and civic justice courts.
The event also served as a hub for social support, with the municipal government distributing direct aid to residents. This included 327 food baskets, 65 blankets, and 60 gas vouchers. Additional initiatives involved a pet vaccination clinic that administered 130 vaccines and a city-wide effort that collected 150 tons of heavy trash.

Adame also praised the value of community spaces like the Tonatzin Center for fostering social development.
“It is wonderful to see the community gathered here: children playing, youth in sports, and seniors resting. These places are vital for our community’s well-being where you can attend workshops or simply share a good time with family and friends,” she noted.
Lastly, Mayor Rocío Adame pledged to intensify efforts in her second year, with a sharp focus on water infrastructure, security, and land regularization.
These actions reinforce her administration’s commitment to govern with honesty, proximity, and transparency for all Rosarito residents.
