Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito has launched the Housing Construction for Fire Victims in Primo Tapia project, which has restored hope and certainty to families affected by disasters in the region.
The project, carried out through the Urban Development Department (PRODEUR), included the construction of 7 homes, with an investment of $3,660,393.73 pesos. More than just a number, each of these houses represents a new beginning: a dignified and safe space where families can rebuild their lives with the certainty of having a home.

One of the beneficiaries, Lucía Jáuregui Valdez, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the supported families. Fighting back tears, she said the project meant not just receiving a house, but also recovering peace of mind and the hope to move forward.
During the event, Mayor Adame, joined by municipal and community leaders, highlighted that more than 21 million pesos have already been invested in infrastructure and social programs in the Primo Tapia delegation. She also emphasized that additional resources are being secured to continue strengthening the community’s development.

“These homes are a symbol that in Playas de Rosarito, no one is alone; that together we can rise after adversity and move forward. Our commitment is clear: to always work for the well-being of our people,” the mayor said.
