Mayor Rocío Adame has underscored significant advances in public safety for the city, crediting a unified strategy between all levels of government following a key interagency security meeting.
The session, part of ongoing efforts to ensure the safety of Rosarito families, was chaired by Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar. It brought together federal, state, and municipal authorities who affirmed the critical need for continued and effective coordination to build upon recent progress.
Concrete data presented at the meeting revealed the tangible impact of this collaborative approach as, according to figures from the C5 security command center, homicides in the municipality decreased by 22% when comparing the first eight days of January to the first eight days of February of this year.

The mayor emphasized the ongoing relevance of strengthening interinstitutional partnerships and meticulously tracking crime prevention initiatives to further improve security conditions and provide greater peace of mind for citizens.
