Mayor Rocío Adame has officially inaugurated the completion of paving work on Avenida Linda and Avenida Hermosa, a project directly benefiting over 120 families in the Lomas de Rosarito neighborhood. The initiative represents a significant step in improving urban development and ensuring safer mobility for residents.
This marks the third paving inauguration carried out by Rosarito City Hall in coordination with PRODEUR, reflecting the administration’s commitment to addressing community needs, enhancing road connectivity, and elevating the quality of life for local families.

Project Details:
- Avenida Hermosa: Approximately 41,900 ft² (3,892.40 m²) of roadway between Avenida Paraíso Oeste and Calle Volcán was paved with hydraulic concrete, benefiting 65 families. The project cost $390,000 USD.
- Avenida Linda: Around 39,700 ft² (3,688.38 m²) was paved, improving accessibility for 55 families, at a cost of $378,000 USD.
During the inauguration ceremony, Mayor Rocío Adame credited the active and organized neighbors of Lomas de Rosarito for the project’s success, noting that their formal petitions to the municipal government enabled a swift and effective response.

“Thanks to the neighbors for being attentive and for their organization. When we talk about transformation, we have to talk about facts, and today the paving is a fact. It is vital that families have a decent place to live, where they can travel safely in the rain and arrive home peacefully,” the mayor said.
Residents expressed gratitude for the City Hall’s prompt attention to their long-standing needs, acknowledging the administration’s effective work while recognizing that other community needs remain.

Looking ahead, the administration announced the upcoming paving of Avenida La Sierra, between Calles Paraíso Oeste and Paraíso Este. With an approved investment of roughly $290,000 USD, funded through Ramo 33, the project is scheduled for completion before the end of 2025.
“This effort is just a first phase. We have more projects we will be realizing, including sidewalk construction. Our goal is for you to feel you live in a dignified place. We have a hardworking and honest community, and we will continue fulfilling our commitments to improve more streets,” the mayor concluded.

With these ongoing efforts, the Government of Playas de Rosarito reaffirms its commitment to citizen well-being and mobility, driving public works that fuel the municipality’s modernization and urban growth.
