As part of its ongoing efforts to improve urban infrastructure, the Playas de Rosarito government, led by Mayor Rocío Adame, inaugurated a new hydraulic concrete pavement project on Anáhuac and Tepechpan streets in the Aztlán neighborhood this Monday.
During the event, the mayor, accompanied by PRODEUR interim director Erick Montaño De La Torre, emphasized that this project fulfills a long-standing promise to Rosarito families, who had been requesting road improvements for years.

“Today, we take an important step to enhance access to homes for over 2,000 residents in Aztlán. This project will not only improve mobility but also elevate the community’s quality of life. Our administration is committed to listening to and addressing the needs of Rosarito’s residents,” the mayor stated in her remarks.
The project includes paving over 3,934 square meters with hydraulic concrete, connecting Anáhuac Street (dead end) to Tollan Street, with an investment of $9,063,321.08 pesos from the Social Infrastructure Fund. This upgrade will enhance vehicle and pedestrian traffic while reducing issues caused by dust in the dry season and mud or flooding during rain.

Community leader Alfredo Valenzuela expressed gratitude on behalf of residents for addressing this long-awaited demand:
“Thank you, Mayor Rocío Adame, for keeping your word and prioritizing our neighborhood, which waited so long for a project like this.”
