Mayor Rocío Adame of Playas de Rosarito presided over this Friday’s session of the Security Council, a weekly meeting designed to evaluate and strengthen ongoing public safety strategies in the community.
The meeting brought together key security officials including: Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, Municipal Secretary of Public Safety; representatives from the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office (FGE); the Secretariat of the Navy (SEMAR); the National Guard; the State Investigation Agency; the State Public Security Force; and Rosarito’s Control, Command, Communication, Computation, Quality, and Citizen Contact Center (C5).



The Secretary of Public Safety reported that between August 7-13: 7 suspects were turned over to state prosecutors; 1 individual was handed over to federal authorities; authorities seized 1 handgun; 4 stolen vehicles were recovered; and 1 additional vehicle connected to criminal activity was secured.
Mayor Adame of Rosarito emphasized that these results demonstrate the effectiveness of coordinated efforts between multiple law enforcement agencies and reflect the unwavering commitment to protecting Rosarito natives through preventive operations.
The Playas de Rosarito City Hall reaffirmed its dedication to interagency collaboration, ensuring continued security improvements for all Rosarito citizens.
