The Second Ordinary Session of the Municipal Council for Real Estate Cadastre took place—following the formal establishment of this organization on May 9— spearheaded by the 10th City Hall led by Mayor María del Rocío Adame Muñoz of Playas de Rosarito and Municipal Cadastre Director, Architect Adrián Gaeta Martínez.
During this session, which brought together City Hall officials as well as representatives from business chambers, professional associations, and neighborhood committees, key proposals to improve territorial planning and ensure fair property valuations in the municipality were presented.
Among the main topics addressed were the updating of homogeneous zones, the creation of new zones, and the defining of appraisal procedures, all aimed at establishing an updated and functional cadastral registry that more accurately reflects the real value of properties.

Council members raised various concerns from the public, such as the need to consider market value in land appraisals based on location, updating outdated databases from previous administrations, and addressing the irregular sale of encumbered lands, which must be regularized in accordance with the law.
“Today, Rosarito is in everyone’s sights as an ideal place to live. It is time to lay the foundations for orderly and sustainable growth. I firmly believe that if we walk together, we will build the Rosarito we all deserve,” Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito stated while stressing the importance of consolidating orderly growth in the city.

Lastly, it was agreed that the discussed proposals would be officially submitted by mail for detailed analysis, with the second formal presentation of initiatives to the Council scheduled for July 4.
With these actions, the Playas de Rosarito City Hall reaffirms its commitment to working in coordination with different levels of government to address the needs and concerns of Rosarito natives.
