Playas de Rosarito Mayor María del Rocío Adame Muñoz presided over the closing ceremony of the School for Families workshop, held at Abraham Lincoln Elementary School No. 32.
Organized by the Municipal DIF, led by Aziel Espinosa Adame and Director Josefina Madrid Castro, the ceremony recognized the dedication of parents and paid tribute to the volunteer facilitators, women who offer their knowledge and care to help build stronger, healthier communities.

The mayor highlighted the need to build stronger communities by supporting families first. She noted that programs like School for Families play a vital role in creating a more compassionate, knowledgeable, and resilient society. She also thanked Matías Ruiz, the school’s principal, for his active participation, which strengthens ties between the educational community and the municipal government.
The event was attended by more than 250 parents who participated in the intensive program, which aims to strengthen family bonds and improve emotional and communication skills at home.
Through initiatives like this, the Playas de Rosarito City Hall reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive development of families.
