Mayor Rocío Adame of Playas de Rosarito led the Security Coordination Roundtable on Friday, bringing together authorities from all three levels of government. During the meeting, officials reaffirmed their unified commitment to ensuring the safety and peace of Rosarito families.
Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, Secretary of Citizen Security, presented the weekly security report highlighting 29 arrests made between June 12 and 18 and 4 firearms seized during preventive patrols in several neighborhoods.
Plus, 2 stolen vehicles and 3 others linked to criminal activities were recovered and handed over to proper authorities.

Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito thanked security forces for their collaboration and stressed the need for greater dialogue with citizens to address their concerns.
“It’s essential that our security forces maintain a close and respectful relationship with Rosarito natives. Only then can we build a strong, trusting community with active citizen participation,” she stated.
She also emphasized that Security Roundtables are a vital tool for swiftly addressing local issues, improving interinstitutional coordination, and encouraging crime reporting.
This meeting included representatives from the State Attorney General’s Office, the State Investigation Agency (AEI), Federal Police, and the Citizen Security State Forces, all of whom reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative efforts to keep Playas de Rosarito safe.
