The government of Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito, in coordination with the local Department of Social Well-Being, organized a special movie screening for around 100 children to provide moments of joy and wholesome entertainment to the most vulnerable kids in the city.

This event is part of an ongoing program to support children in vulnerable situations. The Municipal Secretary of Social Welfare, Ilse Yanett Rodríguez Ramos, emphasized the importance of these initiatives, noting that for many of the children, this was their first time experiencing a movie theater.

“Supporting children is a priority for the mayor’s administration. We have implemented this program, involving kids from different neighborhoods in the municipality, offering them not just the chance to enjoy a movie but also giving them popcorn, soda, and a special experience. This time, it was also a way to continue celebrating their day,” Rodríguez Ramos said.

The official also highlighted the local government’s commitment to providing recreation and well-being for Rosarito’s children, especially those facing greater challenges.
