In an effort to enhance the well-being of the community, the Playas de Rosarito government, under the leadership of Mayor Rocío Adame, partnered with the local Health Services Department to distribute free dental plates to senior citizens.

A total of 18 dental plates were provided to residents from various neighborhoods throughout the municipality, each valued at approximately 7,000 pesos. Materials were fully financed by Dr. Francisco Daniel Guzmán López, Director of Municipal Health Services, while the National College of Dental Surgeons supplied the skilled labor.

Mayor Adame highlighted the profound impact of a healthy smile, noting that it not only improves physical health but also boosts self-esteem and overall quality of life. “Oral health is an essential part of our right to wellness. By collaborating with professional organizations like the National College of Dental Surgeons, we multiply our efforts and directly benefit our communities. Thank you for being part of this initiative that restores smiles,” she said.

During the ceremony, beneficiary Gloria Esther Velázquez Bonilla expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Mayor Adame for the opportunity to improve her dental health free of charge.

With initiatives like this, the Playas de Rosarito government reaffirms its commitment to health, social inclusion, and working hand-in-hand with civil organizations to build a more compassionate and healthier community for all.
