Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito attended the graduation ceremony for the 2019–2025 class at Jesús García Elementary School, where she served as the honorary guest speaker.

This event took place on Thursday morning at the school, where more than 50 sixth-grade students celebrated the conclusion of this important academic chapter alongside their families, teachers, and school administrators.

In her address, Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito congratulated the graduates, acknowledging their hard work, perseverance, and dedication:
“Today, we celebrate not just the end of a cycle, but the beginning of a new journey. I assure you that the knowledge, values, and love you’ve received here will stay with you for life,” she said.

As a symbolic gesture of her role as honorary guest speaker of the 2019-2025 graduating class, the mayor presented commemorative gifts to the students, emphasizing that education is a top priority of her administration.

School principal María Catalina Barajas Alcalá thanked the mayor for her closeness to the educational community and her support for public institutions in the municipality. She also recognized the efforts of teachers, parents, and the students who made up the 2019-2025 class.

The ceremony began with honors to the Mexican flag and a changing of the guard, followed by cultural performances and academic awards. The event concluded with a farewell dance by the graduates, amid applause and hugs, marking both an ending and the start of new goals for the future citizens of Playas de Rosarito.
