As part of ongoing efforts to enhance public safety in Playas de Rosarito, Mayor Rocío Adame led another session of the Municipal Security Coordination Meeting, joined by representatives from various law enforcement agencies across all levels of government.
In attendance were Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, local Minister of Citizen Security, along with officials from Baja California’s Department of Citizen Security, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), the National Guard, and the Mexican Navy—reaffirming a shared institutional commitment to peace and the well-being of Rosarito’s families.

During the session, Manzo Ruvalcaba reported that from July 10 to 16, multiple arrests were made, with 16 individuals referred to the FGE and 3 turned over to the Federal Attorney General’s Office (FGR). These results stem from preventive operations, patrols, and responses to citizen reports.
Mayor Adame emphasized that coordinated efforts among security institutions are essential to maintaining public order, preventing crime, and responding swiftly to the community’s needs. She expressed her appreciation for each agency’s work and the coelective efforts that continue to deliver tangible results for the city.

The Playas de Rosarito government encourages the public to report any suspicious or illicit activity by calling 911 for emergencies, 089 for anonymous tips, or messaging the Citizen Security Department via WhatsApp at (661) 113-7622. Community participation—from residents to local business owners—is vital to improving safety outcomes across the municipality.
