Mexicali is set to host the Rodada Tricolor (Tricolor Bike Ride) on Saturday, September 20, an evening community cycling event designed to encourage eco-friendly transportation and family-friendly recreation.
Ramón Ramsés Romero Araiza, Director of Mexicali’s Directorate of Sustainable Mobility (DIMOS), invited residents of all ages to join the ride, noting that it highlights the bicycle as a healthy, sustainable, and efficient option for urban travel.
The ride will begin at 7:00 p.m. in front of the UABC Rectoría building and follow a 3.7-kilometer (2.3 miles) route along Avenida Álvaro Obregón. Organizers emphasize that the event is open to cyclists of all skill levels.

After the ride, participants can enjoy a cultural fair organized by the Municipal Institute of Art and Culture (IMACUM), along with offerings from local entrepreneurs and businesses affiliated with the National Chamber of Commerce (CANACO).
Those interested in taking part can register via DIMOS’s official Facebook page.
