Baja California continues to be colored orange due to COVID-19, a disease that has made thousands of people infected in the region and that, unfortunately, is not yet over.

According to the update on these cases, the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, informed this Monday morning, November 9, that 121 new cases of coronavirus were reported, of which 90 were registered in Mexicali, 19 in Tijuana, eight in Ensenada, three in Rosarito and one in Tecate.

Meanwhile, active cases in the state increased to 429, with 254 of them located in the state capital, 72 in Tijuana, 66 in Ensenada, 18 in San Quintín, 13 in Tecate, five in Rosarito and one in San Felipe.

As of Monday morning, 92 intubated patients had been registered, which is more than a month ago, where 64 were reported.

Currently, 23 thousand and 43 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in the state, of which only 10 thousand 425 showed up in Mexicali. In the case of unfortunate deaths, these total 3 thousand 956, the majority of which are also residents of this municipality, registering one thousand 706.
