Several non-governmental organizations and authorities, who are in favor of the immigration reform, are now alerting the general public about possible scams in this matter due to recent events around the country.

While it may be true that the immigration reform might become a reality, U.S. immigration authorities said the process will take several months. Therefore, no one is authorized to initiate any type of process that would adjust the legal status of at least 11 million people who are waiting for this change to happen.

Obama added that there have been several proposals and studies on the subject, where companies such as Google, Yahoo and Facebook have join this cause.
