Mexican Mayor “ditches” the Constitution and gives city to Jesus Christ

The Mayor from Monterrey, Margarita Arrellanes Cervantes (PAN party), in a religious ceremony "Monterrey Prays" publicly gave the Sultan City of the North (Monterrey) to Jesus Christ.

"I, Margarita Alicia Arellanes Cervantes here by give the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, to our Lord Jesus Christ. So that his kingdom of peace and blessings lay upon us, and that the doors of this municipality are open to God as the ultimate authority". These were the words that the Mayor declared in front of many people who attended the event, and who all responded back with cheers and clapped their hands.

As a symbol of this gift to Jesus, the National Action Party (PAN) member handed a plaque to two children who were dressed in white, while the audience shouted "Christ lives, Christ lives".
