MEXICO.- A couple months after President Enrique Peña Nieto of Mexico adorned the cover of Time Magazine, under the title "Saving Mexico", in which it discussed his controversial reforms, the President will now be on the Mexican edition of Rolling Stone magazine this month.

"Peña Nieto the reformer. "Dumb?…not really" is the title on the cover of a publication that usually focuses on music and pop culture, according to its director Benjamin Salcedo, in an exclusive interview with W Radio. What is interesting is that this is the first time the Mexican edition of the Rolling Stone will take a political stance in its editorial.

In February, the international edition was heavily scrutinized from an objectivity and ethical standpoint after Pope Francis I appeared on the cover, as many did not agree with the way in which the story covered the papacy.

Pope Francis I appeared on the cover of Time Magazine for the first time in December of 2013 and was named the Person of the Year, and then also by the Rolling Stone international edition this past February. Similarly, Peña Nieto caused quite a stir when he appeared on the cover of Time Magazine back in February, as he likely will when appearing this month on the music publication's cover.
