The British magazine "Restaurant" presented as each year, their selection of the world's 50 best restaurants. This is an event where over 800 specialists participate and for those who are in the gastronomic industry, being there is equal to receiving an Oscar.

Mexico has two appearances in the list and for both restaurants, this isn't their first time as part of the selection.

The first of them is "Biko Restaurant" at the 31 spot, from Mexico City. The Chefs Bruno Oteiza and Mikel Alonso offer two menus every single day: one is creative, the other is traditional and on both cases they mix the Basque and Mexican cuisine. In general, their dishes are known by the use of local products. This is their third year at the famous ranking.

Some spots below, we will find "Pujol Restaurant" also from Mexico City. This is their second year on the list and the team commanded by Chef Enrique Olvera has transformed the elegant dinners into something more inspired in the Mexican markets, something more close to the traditional Mexican culture.

On the first place stands "Noma Restaurant"from Denmark. They are known for transforming the traditional amuse bouche into one-bites and that little detail is worth the travel to Copenhagen. The Nordic dishes of Nome are passion on every single taste.
