ECUADOR.- Eight students from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) participated in the latest edition of Robot Games Zero Latitude, held in Ecuador.

The students of the engineering career in mechatronics of the Interdisciplinary Professional Unit in Engineering and Advanced Technologies (UPIITA) returned to their country proud to have obtained five gold medals, one silver and two bronze.

They participated in a total of seven categories, taking the first place in three.

"Some of the members of the Robotics Association have worked for five years in the development of our robots, and to that consistency in the work we owe the good results of this occasion," explained Orlando Herrera Ramos, tenth-semester student of Conacyt.
