The first horror-themed web-series in Mexico, "El Porvenir" (the coming future), will be premiering it's 2nd season soon. "El Porvenir" is brought to you by "El Vigilante Films", an audio-visual production company created in 2008 by Miguel Garcia Yee and Manuel Alejandro Anell, and is located in the city of Tijuana, Mexico. The best thing about it is that it will be filmed entirely in Baja California, and all the production will be local.
The series tells a story of the town "El Porvenir", where a series of violent events break the inhabitants peaceful lives. A group of policemen try to find out the origin of these cases, only to discover that there is a much larger and unexplainable mystery haunting the town by night.
The first season had a huge success not only in Mexico, but in different countries positioning itself in the top rankings and winning awards at different festivals.
