Mexico's economy expanded 1.1% in the January-March period compared to the previous quarter, according to preliminary Inegi figures released Monday.
Meanwhile, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew 1.2% in the first quarter in comparison to the same period of the previous year, according to original figures.
The Government estimates that throughout 2018, the GDP will have an expansion in the range of 2.0-3.0%
