As part of this tradition and while opening up its colorful cempasúchil (Mexican marigold) flower fields, Mictlán in Tijuana has announced its 2023 season. Here you will be able to buy cempasúchil flowers, enjoy a magical afternoon taking pictures among the flowers, and relax while touring the area.
Mictlán returns to Tijuana
With the concept "Autumn Folklore: The Earth Unites Us", Mictlán will bring to Tijuana's lands a combination of Mexican folklore with Day of the Dead celebrations and Celtic folklore from where the festivity of Halloween originated.
When can you visit the flower fields?
The 2023 season will begin on Saturday, September 30 and will end on Sunday, November 5. Attendants will be able to enjoy traditional Mexican flora available in bouquets, new photoshoot sets, landscapes, gastronomic offerings, and live music and dancing performances.
That's not all! Since we are also celebrating autumn, you will also be able to enjoy pumpkin sales and decorations.
You will be able to visit without any reservations. General admission for adults is $150 pesos, while for children ages 2 to 12, the cost is $90 pesos. This is a pet friendly field with the following working hours:
- Saturday and Sunday: 8 AM to 6 PM
