Upon entering the winery we were greeted by a couple of big drums of steel where they keep some of their wines. To our left a small stairwell that took us to a small bar. Some tourists were still hanging out drinking the bottles they purchased earlier.
The tables were made of wood and glass, very classy. At the end a small bar with some wooden barrels I assume filled with wine at some point formed the décor. Much to my pleasure, some Pink Floyd was playing but in a Bossa Nova style. That in combination with the lighting just made you feel like staying there forever.

Elizabeth Rivera was our host/bartender, a good friend of César the tour guide, and she instantly made us feel right at home. We tasted some white wine, the Sauvignon Blanc from the Monte Xanic line. Some of there Calixa line wines too, a red one in particular was exquisite. Finally we had some Syrah Cabernet Sauvignon from their limited edition line that was simply glorious. Fine and elegant wines, with a lot of body and taste, very strong ones too. Just one bottle can give elegance to any reunion you have.
