According to this poll, in the 2024 elections, 66.8% of Tijuana natives see Montserrat Caballero as the frontrunner to be reelected as the mayor of Tijuana. Meanwhile, her opponents, Jorge Salazar and Erik Morales, received 20% and 13.2% of preferences, respectively.
This poll was made from November 29 to December 4, 2023, and the sample was of 1,791 valid interviews to Tijuana residents of 18 years of age or older with some kind of electronic device and internet access.
Montserrat Caballero took office in Tijuana on October 1, 2021, being the first democratically elected woman and, at the same time, the one who received the most votes in this city.
