Tijuana’s first female mayor, according to this poll, is 16 points ahead with 40.3% against her next competitor Julián Leyzaola with 24.6%.

In third place, there’s former Baja California governor Jaime Bonilla with 10.5%. It should be noted that these results have placed the municipal president as the aspiring candidate that is most well-known among Tijuana citizens, with 96.8%; Bonilla obtained 72.7% and Jorge Ramos Hernández obtained 68.2%.
She also came in first place among the possible candidates for 2024, with 51.5% voting for her. Her two closest competitors Jaime Bonilla and Jorge Ramos got 29.6% and 29.8%, respectively.
Results were obtained through 600 polls made to adult citizens in Tijuana. This was a probability proportional to size sampling, carried out through face-to-face interviews with the population of this city and phone calls.
