Baja California’s state leadership of MORENA has come out in strong support of Governor Marina del Pilar amid the release of purportedly leaked audio recordings, framing the controversy as a politically motivated attack rooted in deception and distortion.
State party chair Rosina del Villar Casas addressed the matter, asserting that the recordings were obtained through fraudulent means and subsequently stripped of context to erode public confidence in the governor.
She underscored that the allegations stem exclusively from unverified statements made by individuals who never demonstrated any official standing, rendering them incomparable to judicial determination or formal indictment.

Del Villar further pointed out that both the Office of the Presidency and the federal Secretariat of Security have publicly dismissed the material as unreliable, while opposition factions attempt to give importance to evidently manipulated evidence.
The party leader reaffirmed MORENA’s unwavering support for the governor’s administration, citing concrete gains in fiscal consolidation, a landmark decline in extreme poverty, unprecedented foreign direct investment, and one of the nation’s lowest unemployment rates as testament to effective governance.
Concluding, Del Villar reiterated that the executive branch has maintained a clear and consistent narrative from the beginning, and that the governor remains dedicated to advancing economic opportunity for all families across Baja California.
