Charred Birria Taco
The first taco tried by Chef Danny Betancourt was a charred birria taco, served on two handmade corn tortillas, almost toasted in grease, accompanied by onion, cilantro, salsa, cheese, and meat that was completely charred on the griddle.
Regarding the tortillas, Chef Danny highlighted the quality of their maize flavor which, when almost fried in the birria grease, take on a special flavor. On the other hand, he said that the meat, despite not being as juicy as a typical birria taco, has a very good flavor and along with the Oaxaca cheese creates a very delicious combination. This is why this taco gets a rating of 8.0.
