The Primo Tapia Well-Being Clinic has officially opened in Playas de Rosarito, bringing free, high-quality medical care to more than 20,000 residents. As the seventh facility of its kind in Baja California, the clinic is designed to serve everyone — including seniors, single mothers, and children — and marks a significant step toward strengthening the region’s municipal health network.

The inaugural ceremony was led by Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila and Rosarito Mayor Rocío Adame, who has been a key advocate for the initiative.

For the community of Primo Tapia, the clinic is the response to a long-standing and urgent need according to the mayor.

“Today we are responding to an urgent request from our neighbors. This clinic represents not only free and quality medical care but also proximity, trust, and well-being. We thank the Red Cross for their collaboration, which will allow us to provide 24-hour service and ensure emergency care,” the mayor emphasized.
