San Diego’s Normal Heights neighborhood is once again aglow with festive spirit as its popular annual Holiday Party & Lights Tour returns this December. This cherished tradition transforms the community’s streets into a vibrant nighttime spectacle of creativity and light.
For one evening, the area becomes a festive open-air gallery where residents and visitors alike can stroll past homes lavishly adorned for the season. Each house on the tour displays its unique character, from dazzling synchronized light displays to nostalgic arrangements of classic ornaments, offering a visual treat for all ages.
The event is designed as a relaxed, family-friendly experience. Alongside the main walking route, the tour often features additional activities, encouraging attendees to linger and enjoy the details of each decorated home.
The tour is scheduled for Tuesday, December 17th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., primarily along Hawley Boulevard. Participation in the general, self-guided neighborhood walk is free and requires no registration. Special guided tours may have limited capacity and require advance online booking.
