Non-essential travel crossings to the United States will not resume until at least March 21 of this year when they will, once again, update the status of the restrictions.
When this new deadline expires, more than a year will have passed since the last time Mexicans with tourist visas were able to visit the northern neighbor, this determination arises from the coronavirus pandemic, which continues to add infections and deaths in both countries.
It is recalled that these restrictions do not apply to U.S. citizens, Mexicans engaged in cross-border commerce, persons who must cross the border for medical reasons or individuals traveling on government business. Also, spouses and children of members of the Armed Forces.
