"Opera at the Beach is one of the festivals that has managed to be placed as a favorite, not only in Rosarito, but among the tourists from outside the state and country; on the other hand we are still celebrating the new CEART facilities that the State Government opened in collaboration with the Cultural Institute. We invite citizens to enjoy this complex, but beautiful genre with their families" Said Marco Nuño, representative of ICBC Playas de Rosarito.
Nuño mentions that for the 8th consecutive year, Baja California and visitors will have the opportunitie to appreciate a multidisciplinary program with leading exponents in music, dance, chorus, orchestra and typical cuisine of the region.
The aim of the festival is to provide the population high level performances that can encourage the approach to one of the most complex, theatrical and musical genres: Opera.
Each of the presentations will be inspired by this genre, the sets, costumes, makeup and performance of the libretto, in which both directors, artists and young talents of Baja California will participate with the influence of Baroque music to contribute the dissemination of historical compositions by authors such as Mozart, Puccini and Charles Gonoud.
It will also be the meeting place for those who have not had the opportunity to meet the new CEART facilities, where they'll hear the magic repertoire prepared for the 8th edition.
The ICBC reiterates the invitation to attend the Opera Festival at the Beach on Saturday July 23, starting at 12:00 pm in the State Center for the Arts Playas de Rosarito (CEART)
