A summer swimming spot has been magically transformed into a winter wonderland as the “Christmas Village at Albercas El Vergel” opens its doors, illuminating the city with over one million twinkling lights for its third annual season.
The popular venue, once filled with swimmers seeking relief from the summer heat, has traded pools for festive cheer. Its empty pools are now surrounded by a breathtaking display of lights, creating unparalleled photo opportunities, festive entertainment, and even simulated snowfall for visitors.
The Christmas Village offers a wide array of activities designed for all ages, including:
- Amusement rides
- Ice skating
- Sack slides
- A new cinema
- Shows with Christmas characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and more.
The village is open everyday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.. General admission is set at $180 pesos (roughly $10 USD) from Monday to Friday and $200 pesos ($11 USD) on Saturdays and Sundays.
