The boxing promoter Bob Arum declared to the LA times that there is a possibility that Manny Pacquiao won't fight in the United States anymore.

"Fighting outside like in his next fight against Rios, Manny would avoid paying 40% in taxes as all foreign athletes have to pay. If this Pay Per View and other things work out I don't think Pacquiao will ever fight in the United States" declared Arum

It will be on November 23 when Pacquiao will make his return to the ring after suffering a knock out to Juan Manuel Marquez. He has been sidelined from the ring ever since on doctor's orders. It will be Brandon Rios who Pacquiao will face on his return.

Bob estimates that Pacquiao's return will generate 10 to 20 million dollars. The last 14 Pacquiao fights have been in the U.S.

This news also puts a damper on a fifth Pacquiao vs Marquez fight. There was a rumor that that fight would happen in September of 2013, but just last month it was reveled that Juan Manuel Marquez would be fighting Timothy Bradley.
