The government of Playas de Rosarito, led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz, successfully kicked off a free vaccination campaign for dogs and cats, through its Social Well-Being, Municipal Health, and Social Development departments.
The first event took place on the morning of Tuesday, July 1, at the Aztlán Community Center, where 60 dogs and cats received essential veterinary services — including rabies vaccinations, flea and tick treatments, and deworming — from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This program aims to protect the health of pets and families in Rosarito by providing completely free preventive veterinary care. Municipal authorities reaffirmed their commitment to animal welfare and public health.
The campaign will continue with mobile clinics in various neighborhoods across the municipality. Upcoming dates include:
- Colinas del Sol – July 7 | Abarrotes El Sol
- Magisterial – July 8 | Secundaria No. 32
- Vista Marina – July 14 | Ferretería
- Lucio Blanco – July 15 | Poliducto
- Morelos – July 21 | Outside the OXXO convenience store

The government of Playas de Rosarito invites the entire community to help protect the health of their pets and families; bring your dog or cat and take advantage of these free veterinary services.
