The Playas de Rosarito government, led by Mayor Rocío Adame, kicked off a pothole repair program on one of its main roads, Blvd. Benito Juárez, aiming to enhance road safety and traffic flow ahead of the rainy season.

Crews from the Urban Services Office are currently working along the boulevard in both directions, focusing on the most deteriorated sections to prevent accidents, streamline traffic, and improve the daily commute for residents.

Mayor Rocío Adame emphasized that these actions are part of her administration’s ongoing commitment to maintaining streets in optimal condition, especially due to rain forecasts.

“We are carrying out preventive work to avoid harm to drivers and Rosarito families. Our goal is clear: to keep our roads safe, functional, and in good condition, prioritizing the most heavily trafficked areas like Blvd. Benito Juárez,” the mayor said.

The mayor confirmed that the program will continue throughout the season, expanding to rehabilitate other main streets across the city. She also highlighted the program’s responsiveness to citizen reports.

“The well-being of our community starts with the basics: safe streets, efficient mobility, and a city that continues to grow in an orderly fashion. I thank the Urban Services team for their constant work and for addressing these strategic points that directly impact our daily lives,” she noted.
