The City Hall led by Mayor María del Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito continues to reinforce its commitment to animal well-being and encourages the community to join the “Paseo de Perritos” (Dog Walk), an event taking place on Thursday, June 12, starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Animal Control facility in the Morelos neighborhood.

This initiative aims to raise awareness about the importance of responsible pet adoption and strengthen the bond between Rosarito natives and their companion animals.

The event is organized in coordination with Animal Control staff, led by Francisco Guzmán, and Voluntariado Rosarito, a group actively working to rescue and protect abandoned animals. During the walk, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with rescued dogs, many of whom are ready to find loving homes.

The event serves as an excellent opportunity to educate the public about the care and responsibilities involved in pet ownership, while also highlighting the efforts of the Playas de Rosarito City Hall in promoting animal health and well-being. The participation of families, young people, and volunteers will be key to fostering a more empathetic and aware community.

The Playas de Rosarito City Hall, strongly supported by the mayor, thanks all those who participate in these activities and reaffirms their commitment to supporting programs that promote responsible pet ownership, respect for animals, and preventive public health measures.
