Citizens of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, have made this news public, a young cyclist was run over by two municipal patrol pick up trucks, and then arrested for having caused damages to the Police trucks.
The news paper "La Opcion de Chihuahua" reported on this news detailing the accident. "The agents took an off road to avoid traffic, Patrol number 120 was speeding and raising dirt which caused the Patrol 102 behind them to lose visibility and not notice the cyclist"
When an ambulance from the Green Cross arrived on scene to tend to the injured young man, instead of being able to rest, get over the shock and get his injuries looked at, he was arrested under the pretense that he damaged the police unit, which was but a scratch on the police trucks bumper made by the impact with the bicycle.
