The musical group from Anaheim California, No Doubt, announced that their new cd "Push and Shove" will be available on September 25th and the first single will arrive on July 16th under the title "Settle down".
The news surfaced on their official Facebook account and the message was signed by all the band member.It also mentioned future presentations on the Teen Choice Awards, the Late Night Show of Jimmy Fallon and Good Morning America.
Sophie Muller is already working on the music video of "Settle Down" and she has worked with them previously on the videos "Don't Speak", "Underneath it all" and "Simple Kind of Life" among others.
The last record with original songs of No Doubt, "Rock Steady" was released in 2002. After it, they presented a compilation of their greatest hits and had a musical break of seven years.
Before getting back into the studio, in 2009, they made a tour around the US and it worked as inspiration. The summer tour had stops in San Diego on May 22nd and August 8th.
During the musical break of the band, the vocalist, Gwen Stefani made two albums: "Love, Angel, Music Baby and "The sweet escape" and the fashion line "L.A.M.B.".
The concept of No Doubt has been the inspiration for many bands that feature a fresh sound and a girl as vocalist. A clear example is Paramore who was the opening act at the 2009 tour.
