LOS ANGELES Spanish class will never be the same. Latin pop superstar Ricky Martin will guest star as teacher of that language in the popular TV show "Glee."
Through his Twitter account, the 40-year-old entertainer said he taped the show Thursday and Friday.
"Incredible two days of filming! A great experience. To all the cast . Muchas Gracias," wrote the Puerto Rican singer.
Several cast members shared photos of themselves with the singer through their Twitter accounts.
"So much fun on set with Ricky!," tweeted actress Lea Michele, who worked with Martin on the theater play of "Los Miserables" in 1996. "He's seriously the sweetest and such a great fit for our show!".
"Glee," about the characters in a competitive high school choir, is in its third season on the Fox network. The show has won Emmy and Golden Globe Awards and is nominated for more honors this year.
The episode with Martin is to air on Jan. 31.
