During various matches, Rihanna has even supported the Mexican team by wearing a jacket with the team's insignia. She compared the final match between Brazil and German as comparable to the beating she received from her ex Chris Brown, and has publicly declared her admiration of Argentinian soccer player Sergio Romero.
But, for the final battle, Rihanna wore the German jersey, and made it clear who her favorite team was to win the game.After the victory, the singer lost no time in joining in on the celebrations with the European team and shared photographs taken on what she describes as "the best day of her life" while she poses alongside German athletes.
Other famous fans that were in attendance at the World Cup festivities were Shakira, who performed just hours before in the closing ceremony; Gisele Bundchen, Tom Brady, LeBron James, and Ashton Kutcher, just to mention a few.
