Secretary of Citizen Security, Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba, explained that the road operation, coordinated with the Secretariat of Mobility and Transport, aims to ensure the community can enjoy a safe and festive Christmas celebration.
The Secretary stated:
Starting at 4 PM, Bulevar Benito Juárez will be closed in the south-to-north direction, spanning from Plaza San Fernando to McDonald's. Simultaneously, Calle Artículo 127 will be closed from its intersection with Bulevar Guerrero to Calle Alta Tensión. The main events of this celebration will culminate at the City Hall building.
The government official shared the detailed schedule for December 15:
-Roads will close at 4 PM as the 5K "Navidad con Tenis" race kicks off at the City Hall terrace.
-The Christmas parade will begin at 5:30 PM on Bulevar Benito Juárez and will proceed to the City Hall building.
-Following the parade, the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony will take place.
