The Mayor of Playas de Rosarito, Rocío Adame, led the weekly Security Coordination Meeting, where representatives from all levels of government agreed on a unified strategy to ensure the safety of residents and visitors during Baja Beach Fest 2025, considered the largest and most important event in Baja California.
During the meeting, officials from the National Guard, Mexican Army (SEDENA), Baja California State Attorney General’s Office, State Civil Security Force, Rosarito Municipal Public Safety Department, and other agencies outlined specific roles and established a continuous communication flow to operate in full coordination before, during, and after the festival.

“We are ready to offer peace of mind, order, and confidence throughout this important event. My commitment is to ensure that Playas de Rosarito welcomes all visitors with safety and hospitality,” said Mayor Adame.
An estimated 35,000 to 45,000 people are expected to visit each day on August 8, 9, and 10. This number includes festivalgoers as well as visitors enjoying the city’s culinary scene, recreational activities, and natural attractions.

With the support of Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, the State Civil Security Force will carry out a special operation in coordination with the Rosarito Public Safety Department, led by Director Héctor Manzo Ruvalcaba. The plan includes strategic surveillance, controlled access points, preventive monitoring, and a constant presence in key areas.
Most attendees of Baja Beach Fest are Latino tourists from the United States, making the festival a binational event that boosts Rosarito’s international profile. Authorities are therefore focused on providing a safe, well-organized, and positive experience.
The Government of Playas de Rosarito emphasizes that interagency coordination remains the cornerstone of protecting both residents and visitors.
