Playas de Rosarito officials reported a fire Tuesday afternoon in the Los Ramos neighborhood that destroyed a home and a vehicle, directly affecting one local family.
Firefighters and civil protection crews responded quickly, containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading to nearby homes. Officials said the rapid response helped reduce the risk to residents in the area.
Following the incident, Mayor Rocío Adame directed city departments to provide immediate assistance to the affected family and ensure follow-up support.

Public Works crews brought in equipment and personnel to assist with cleanup efforts, including debris removal at the site.
The city’s DIF social services agency provided immediate aid, delivering food supplies and clothing for the parents and their three children to cover urgent needs.
City welfare officials also made direct contact with the family and said additional assistance, including food packages, blankets, and hygiene supplies, is scheduled to be delivered Wednesday at the family’s request.

City officials said the response was prompt and coordinated, with multiple departments working together to help the family begin recovering from the loss.
The city said it will continue coordinating across departments to respond to emergencies and provide support to residents when incidents like this occur.
