The holiday season has officially arrived in Playas de Rosarito, ushering in a Christmas celebration set to shine brighter than ever. This year, the city is bringing back one of its most cherished traditions: the 2025 Grand Christmas Parade.
City officials are inviting residents and families to join the festivities, an annual highlight that brings the community together and turns Rosarito’s main streets into a colorful holiday showcase.
The parade begins at 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, starting from Plaza San Fernando. A procession of illuminated floats, festive music, and classic holiday characters will make its way through the city, spreading cheer along the route.
Mayor Rocío Adame encouraged the community to participate, describing the event as an opportunity for families to connect and celebrate the season.
“We want this Christmas to fill every home in Playas de Rosarito with hope and happiness. This parade is a gift to our families; a moment to come together, celebrate, and strengthen the bonds that unite us,” she said.

The route continues down Benito Juárez Boulevard before concluding at City Hall, where spectators can expect glowing floats, costumed performers, music groups, and presentations by community organizations.
After the parade, the celebration moves to the City Hall courtyard for the official lighting of the Municipal Christmas Tree. The ceremony, led by Mayor Adame and local families, marks the formal start of the holiday season in Rosarito.
“We invite everyone to enjoy this celebration in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere. Playas de Rosarito shines because of its people, and we look forward to seeing residents enjoy this beautiful tradition,” the mayor added.
City officials emphasized their commitment to building community through events that bring families together and strengthen local pride as the holiday season begins.
