The Playas de Rosarito Fire Department continues to strengthen its operational capabilities. For three days, the municipal lifeguard team took part in the “Personal Watercraft Rescue Operations Course,” taught by California-based experts.
The training enhanced their knowledge and skills in personal watercraft handling techniques, real-life rescue maneuvers, and preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment.

This course is part of the initiatives promoted by Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito to ensure timely, safe, and professional assistance for residents and visitors enjoying the municipality’s beaches, especially during peak seasons.
Thanks to this training, lifeguards now possess advanced technical and tactical tools to respond more effectively in emergencies, improving their ability to handle incidents at sea.
